Celebrating the New Year in Zakarpattia

On the 29th of December with bags and rucksacks packed up youth of our church departed for the first long-term travels to Zakarpattia, where we were hospitably received by our brothers and sisters from Velyki Luchki. We had a splendid time to visit churches in Uzhgorod, Mukacheve, Zarichia, Velyki Luchki and Seredne. Moreover we could visit numerous youth services, undertake breathtaking travels through picturesque landscapes of Zakarpattia, have picnic with shashliks and night-round congregation celebrating the New Year.

However this could not reduce the joy of receiving the spiritual gift called "to be mutually encouraged by each other's faith". The more places you visit, the more you understand that you are a part of great family of God, His church. Through all the countries around the world His name is praised by His children. In any part of our planet you will certainly find brothers and sisters you may trust and rely on.

The memories of this fantastic journey will long time live in memory of all the participants. But much more precious is making new faithful friends with christians from Zakarpattia.
